Flight Tactics

Team Awareness Kit

iOS TAK, built for public safety

Android, Windows, and web have long been well represented in TAK. In 2023 Flight Tactics set out to close the gap on Apple devices. Today agencies use TAK Tracker and TAK Aware — built on open-source SwiftTAK — across incidents, events, and daily operations.

v1.9.0

TAK Tracker

A simple iOS companion to Android TAK Tracker. Multiple servers, emergency alerts, and low battery use — without duplicate SA when TAK Aware is running.

Released July 22, 2026

v1.9.1

TAK Aware

Channels, certificate enrollment, DataSync, custom iconsets, video, and KML — built to lower training load for agencies already using ATAK.

Released July 9, 2026

Open source foundation

SwiftTAK

Both apps stand on SwiftTAK, Flight Tactics' open-source Swift package for exchanging information with TAK products. We also work with organizations bringing other iOS projects into the TAK ecosystem.
